C&L's Late Nite Music Club with The Bastard Fairies
By Howie Klein Wednesday Sep 19, 2007 10:05pmLNMC had a great reaction when we first introduced The Bastard Fairies a few months ago. This week they launched a new video for "A Venomous Tale" exclusively through some cockamamie Windows Media concoction. Thank God the exclusivity lasted about 15 minutes. Robin Davey has done a very nice discussion with... the videographer about the new project that you may find interesting and entertaining. But no matter how much you laugh at that, Yellow Thunder Woman's vocals and the music are absolutely irresistible:

what an empowering feminist role model that lead singer is!!!
And it looks like a tribute to a certain NFL fan.

Don't know what sucked, vocals or melody. But to lose to the cheesy ipod ad girl's voice...

Love the little jazzy flourish he adds to this.

Love Jethro Tull: Thick as a Brick. Great song. Great vid.
Here's a song someone emailed me about a while back and I helped steer them to someone to put it to video:

Those breasts have a real future in the music business.
Too bad they overproduced the hell out of her vocals. Her natural voice sounds better, imho.
The Bastard Fairies took on O'Reilly last December and that idiot even responded a couple of times on his show with segments devoted to them. O'Reilly's complaint? That he was dissed by an 8 year old girl.

I knew it would only be a matter of time before No Doubt tribute bands would become all the rage.
The clown leaning against the foot of the bed probably needed viagra.
