Late Night Music Club - Christmas with Tom Waits
For decades, scientists and nativity theoreticians have speculated as to what a Tom Waits Christmas might look and sound like. Was such a thing even possible? Would Waits’ irresistibly pulverizing junky balladeer forcehood and Christmas’ immovably cheery object-ness mutually annihilate each other? Would putting the two together be the Ultimate Existential Bad Touch? Destroying the world in a blinding flash of Yuletide carol/anticarol?
Well speculate no more. Definitively answering one of the last great remaining holiday-based scientific mysteries, the inimitable Mr. Waits’ offers up this Christmas Twofer: "Silent Night" and "Christmas Card From a Hooker in Minneapolis".

tom waits is my favorite musician ever. i just got the biography for christmas. such a badass.
In the early 80's I went to the Salvation Army in Uptown in Chicago. I volunteered and served food to people less fortunate than myself. I'm 99% certain that I've served Bob dinner on X-mass eve.
Aside from that, that afternoon at the S.A. was a rewarding experience, even if Bob was not there. Highly recommended for those out there having a hard time getting into the X-mass spirit.
