C&L's LNMC WORLD DEBUT: Bastard Fairies: WE'RE ALL GOING TO HELL
By Howie Klein Wednesday Jan 16, 2008 9:50pmLast May and September the CLLN Music Club introduced the Bastard Fairies into the mix. Yesterday they finished their new video and asked us if we want to debut it for them. Damn straight, we do! "We're All Going to Hell" started out as a snippet at the end of “The Coolest 8 year old in the World” video, Bill O'Reilly's favorite YouTube ever. The band says everyone in the video is going to hell.

See y'all there!
I'm proud (an so's me spouse - we's both going to hell) to be one of the first viewers of this great premier!!!
I think she's right.
Heh..."Comcastic" download speed was 666KB/sec. Funny.
Speaking of hell. Tonight, Keith Olbermann did a report on military personnel, who have handicaps from injuries sustained in the Middle East, being ordered to return there. He addressed the civilian and military personnel who ordered them back by forcibly saying "You all go to Hell". I'm sure Billo will have another hissy fit.
WOW. I'm in love. My new favorite band. Thanks for the tip.
Nice video. I just downloaded the album on your site and will give it a listen.

Just my opinion but I think people who believe in any religion have a mental disorder. Most people have a mild case that they can live with for their whole lives but in a whole lot of cases people need serious medical attention. The last place these people should be is in any job that has decision making that could effect the public at large.
Yeah, I downloaded it too.

Died eating the book of Kings, huh?
I usually gag half way through Leviticus.
Though I enjoyed the song, I couldn't help but think of how this all sounds like something Fred Phelps (from the Westboro Baptist Church) would say.

I don't get it, what's the point, humankind is evil and will die?
Doh. Been there, heard that.
She's kewt, though. The message, not so brilliant methinks.
Another case of bad music being popular for wierd video.
Really bad music.
It should be labeled wierd video.
Bad political analysis, too. Bad societal analysis, in fact, I don't find much artisticall redeeming in any of this besides the cute pop home made graphic content, which is banal.
Howie, this is art you would champion?
if she's there I'll go in a hand basket. what a fox.

I was a little disappointed that the only easily discernible christian politicians were Obama and Clinton. Why not Huckabee? But otherwise pretty fun.

what the fuck is that!!???!! That song was very difficult to sit through.
> ... That song was very difficult to sit through.
Sometimes the truth is boring. Oh well.
Thanks for the video, I just bought the album after watching this.
Um - will she be in Hell?
Because if she's going to be there, count me in.
:op
OK, I watched this twice and I really tried to like it because I love this site but that song SUCKS! I love what it's about but the best part is the beer break the rest of it sounds like a 5 year old wrote it, jesus. Hell would be listening to that song over and over as I'm being waterboarded, then they'd try to let me talk and all I'd say is kill me please.
Hard to find a mix here.
I firmly believe that there is a difference between wingnut religion and spiritualiism.
Ahhhhh!

Hmmm!
Connection with being evil...

Absolutly no wingnut preaching in this one:

I've always wondered how Satan(and one-third of the angels in Heaven) went against God when we mere mortals are supposed to be the ones with free will. And now if we use our free will in a way that displeases God, we are sent to the exact same place as the fallen angel who did not have free will. Nice rack on the singer as well. See you all there, bring marshmellows( a LOT of them).
Hilarious! Tho she could've said "thanks" to the guy who got her the beer.
One of the scariest things in this world is realizing there are billions of people who believe in the insanity of organized religion. When I see masses of people praying to an invisable god, I realize how lonely it is knowing I'm the only sane person around. As a fellow atheist once remarked to me: GOD HELP US.
jack foster @ 56:
I was raised orthadox roman catholic. Needless to say I'm an atheist now. But watching the god botherers beg an invisible magic wish granting fairy for favors is hilarity. They're especially funny when they use their magic genie to threaten and curse other people to their hell.
Lately I've enjoyed asking my RC family about the change heir popenstein has made regarding limbo and other things. So did the genie get on the hot line to ratzi the nazi and tell him these things? Does he get signals through that hat? What?
Jebus needs to tell the old queen to stop with the dresses and the ruby slippers. He's making them look bad LOL!
The Bastard Fairies ROOL TEH SKOOL!!! See ya'll in Hell.
@56 & 57
You know the religous dont have a monopoly on intolerance and superiority, and thinking your the only sane person around is a sure sign of madness.
The Bastard Fairies are wonderful. Go download their stuff now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fredo. I'm completly happy in my madness of sanity. I KNOW I'm not going to hell. How about you?
Nice video, but it's tame compared to what we're going to release next month... it's called "Dear Jesus (WTF)" Stay tuned for it.
Don't worry. If there's a Hell below, we're ALL gonna go!
-Curtis
LOVE the Bastard Fairies!!!!
I am sure that those tortured Burmese Monks, Desmond Tutu, Rev. Martin Luther King and Gandhi would not agree with you. What always surprises me is the arrogance some atheists have when they damn all forms of "organized religion" as if any and all religions have spawned nothing but evil things. There are many devoutly religious leaders who have made great strides in human/civil rights right along side non-religious leaders. Why do you have to be of one camp or the other? That sounds as narrow-minded as right-wing Christians IMO. I guess Martin Luther King and Gandhi's contributions to society mean less because they were part of "organized religion."
Linny @ 65:
Religion is both bad and good. HOWEVER, the miserable history of torture and bloody conquest in The Name Of The Lord is not counteracted by the good works of the faithful. It does not balance out. That's like saying feeding a hungry person counteracts and nullifies the hot poker through the tongue for blasphemy.
Religious people need to put down the drugs and get their facts straight.
Howie! Dang, man! I downloaded the album last night and it is beautiful! On my third time through it today. Simply beautiful.
Yellow Thunder--you have an amazing voice! I'm your newest fan. Thanks for making your music available for download!
RayC @ 10:
Ahhh good ole Religion, the biggest fraud in human existance. - used to control & manipulate the weak, confused & lazy amongst us, and the weak, confused & lazy amongst us use it as a crutch to gave false hope to their miserable lives.
Not just an F bomb, but in its traditional verb form! Oh my goodness!
Wow! thanks for proving my point about narrow-minded thinking. Its not the idea of religion that is the problem, its the twisted thinking of some of the people who bastardize the idea of religion for evil purposes. If you can't tell the difference maybe you aren't ready for an intelligent discussion on the matter. As I said before, MLK and Gandhi are Religious People would you tell them to put down the drugs and get their facts straight. When they were sacrificing their freedoms and safety for EVERYONE, religious or non-religious? If all you can come back with is "Put down the Drugs" to a question regarding whether you'd respect the works of religious leaders like MLK and Gandhi, you have quite a bit to learn. I am religious but I am certainly not "taking drugs" or telling you that you are nuts not to believe in religion. What an oppressive way of thinking some folks have, religious and atheists alike. If you don't agree with them then you must be on drugs. I thought "liberals" were supposed to be more tolerant of other beliefs and such. Worship or don't worship whomever you please but please don't cast such a broad net on those who chose not to follow your path. I certainly can't condemn you for not believing so please give others the same courtesy.
I know, I know...I must be smoking something to ask you to be somewhat civil when it comes to the concept of intelligently discussing religion and your dislike of it.
Great band. Thanks for posting.
I don't know if Randy Newman performing at the Apple Keynote got any news coverage. I missed it if it did but a link must be posted. Enjoy!

CriminalGeorgeW @ 69:
Wow! the intolerance is staggering. I am willing to bet that most of the candidates you support go to some kind of church and believe in some kind of God. Would you call them miserable and weak and incapable of holding influential public offices? Why do these candidates even bother going to churches and talking to such ignorant, lazy, unwashed masses? Let's query Obama, Clinton (both of them) and Edwards shall we? I would love to hear them spew this garbage to intelligent liberal individuals who just happen to belong to a church. Like I said before...no better than the neo-cons and holy-roller Christians who blindly condemn others for not believing what they believe...really no better.
Let's not forget a lot of evil has also been done to people BECAUSE they belong to a religion...any religion.
I condemn evil done in the name of religion just like I'd condemn evil done in the name of condemning religion. That doesn't mean that I have to hate the idea of religion, but the evil folks who twist it to their own ends.
...and still no one has responded to my query about MLK and Gandhi (and I could name many others but why bother if you are too ignorant to understand the concept of what I am saying you probably wouldn't recognize the names anyway). But with respect to them, would you walk up to them and tell them that they must be on drugs or they were ignorant, weak, confused and lazy? I'm just wondering, because they did what they did because they believed in a benevolent, good spiritual/religious guidance that protected everyone, not just the believers. They were who they were because of religion. So are we lumping them in with the unwashed, lazy, ignorant masses?
scott @ 67:
...and one more thing....
Hillary Clinton: Methodist
Barack Obama: United Church of Christ
John Edwards: Methodist
Let's let them know they need to put down the drugs and get their facts straight.
and that the last place these people should be is in any job that has decision making that could effect the public at large.
but of course....may be we should warn them that they are a pawn in a machine that is used to control & manipulate the weak, confused & lazy amongst us, and the weak, confused & lazy amongst us use it as a crutch to gave false hope to their miserable lives.
Tell me again why any of us should consider voting for any of these ignorant, zombified, unwashed, lazy puppets of the evil institution of religion? Because again...I am just wondering.
Old Time God
enjoy

Good question. I have no answer.

Damn funny.
religion......it's what's for dinner.On Sale Now.......
The Bastard Fairies ROCK!
Sorry, but that was at best lame....but I am sure I will indeed see them (and all of you) in hell.
Just finished the Books of Kings.
Both of 'em.
Only 42 pages--that Ethiopian guy was a piker.
No stroke or nothin'.
Not very yummy, though.
Quite dry.
Goes down easier with garum.
Makes it rather salty and fishy, but a little Manischewitz tops it off nicely.
Mmmm...Wrath of God.
Hey everyone glad so many of you liked it, and also glad some didn't. Someone mentioned why no Huckerbee - well you may have noticed that the people waving the money were Donald Trump and Hugh Hefner, this was because of the monetary contributions they made to these candidates, sadly no one of note made any contributions to Huckerbee at time of animating the video, Chuck Norris jumped on board just a little too late to be included. You may also notice that the guy blowing Haggard in the santa hat is actually the guy that he had his little rendezvous with. We are sticklers for detail you know. Thanks Howie for premiering this and see you bastards in hell.
Poor attempt at making a jib jab video.
