Late Night Music Club with Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman
In August of 2006 I told my Andrea Bocelli/Sarah Brightman story but when I went back to check it out today, I see that their label disabled the clip. In honor of the announcements of the 27 or 28 House members-- and a handful of senators-- who have decided it's time to say goodbye... here's a version I just put together for tonight. And after I put the clip together, right-wing extremist Ron Lewis (R-KY) cut and ran.

Sarah Brightman - Deliver Me (original video)

Damn, I need the grade school version~(with the name tags). And why do the images always have to come out of the screen, like a molester trying to grab you???? Scary. Next time, make their images diminish, like to parasite-size.
The song never fails to give me chills (the good kind). Juxtaposing it with clips guaranteed to give me nausea doesn't seem quite sporting. Next time how about Skeeter Davis' "Got along without ya before I met ya (gonna get along without ya now)?"
Bellagio fountains, baby!
Alfred E Neumann is REPUBLICAN!!!!!
NO WAY!

Oh, Howie. A beautiful soundtrack. Why sully it with such ugly pictures?
I have to admit that song gives me goosebumps. A beautiful duet.
luv sarah brightman, wish i saw her in phantom.
meanwhile, at skippy's late nite music club, we're trying to spread the word about ysabella brave ... a young lady who is the hit of youtube...but before you scoff at the lameness of that concept, give her a listen...she's really, really good, and she specializes in old school torch. tonite we feature her singing the old johnny mercer standard one for my baby.
Bella figlia dell'amore
goosebumpy stuff. Blonde=mezzo. Partner=tenor. Brunette=soprano (Brightman's range) Partner=baritone.
Double duet. Well worth the 6 minutes...JMHO
sorry, the link didn't go thru in that last post.
try this
Well of course all those rats are cutting and running. The teat is dry and no one wants to be squashed when the momma sow rolls over onto her bebbehs.
Go Miss Kitty.
Thank you.
S.B. always had backing from Egnima.

Steve Winwood - Higher Love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdTHa8m1EFo
that pic of larry craig peeping over the toilet door made me chuckle :)
The Beatles - I call your name. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzeO3Qs_FTU
Egregious Fake Opera for Egregious Fake Statesmen - all perfectly forgettable (except that I'll NEVER forget WHAT they've done).
More interesting - Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill" vs Placebo's cover of the same song.
Both interesting - both intense.

Yes, back again. Feeling righteous indignation tonight..... Chuck Hagel should not be figured so prominently in this rogues gallery.
Sure he's a republican, but one of the ONLY people to speak out against his party when it mattered.
The rest...... euwww..... massive douche shiver.
It looks like a most wanted countdown on "To catch a predator".
Has Doolittle ever taken a picture where he DOESN'T look like a major perv?
If he has, I haven't seen it yet.
Adios scumbags. May your karma run over your dogma real soon.
I tried to google, but, alas, to no avail.
Anyone got a LIST of them GONE GONE GONE Pub's of House and Senate?
Maybe with the REASONS they are retiring (sex scandal, money scandal, sex scandal, money scandal, bribes, influence peddling, extortion, sex sex sex gay suppressed sex sex sex DIAPERS!! WIERD SEX!).
You know . . . . all them political reasons one would retire for. *G*
Howie,
Go here and download a program called TubeSock. Free download, $15 registration thru PayPal.
Using TubeSock, you can download any video you feel important from YouTube for your own personal, non-copyright infringement use (wink wink nudge nudge). Then when you discover that some old meanie studio or label has removed the video, you can put it right back up. Or any other use you might think of.
It downloads in any of several formats, inc. Video iPod compatible.
I like the idea, but I just can't look at this many Republicans this early in the morning. I lasted about 15 seconds.
hahahaha that waz great ofcourse the only reason these rats are leaving is because
A they would get there asses tore up from tha floor up come next election
b they would be no stalling of investigations once the dems take the white house
oh yeah PS take mary landrieu with ya
RON LEWIS isn't running for re-election? Hallelujah!
He's my representative, and he's responded to all my letters decrying Bush/ Cheney constitutional abuses with vapid pseudo-patriotic GWOT pablum.
This area (Bowling Green, Kentucky) is so knee-jerk conservative that I doubt we'll get a Dem, but then again, we finally got a Democratic governor!
This music much too beautiful for this thugs gallery !
throughout history, and forever into the future, when one entity gets to a certain level of power and control over others, the rest of us have a very simple decision to make.
should we join that powerful entity and try to gain personally from it's influence, even if the policies they are pursuing violate every belief we've previously held? and to what degree should we misrepresent, through lying our self-deception, our own beliefs in order to achieve those gains?
or should we suffer the short-term damage of distancing ourselves from this powerful entity, stay true to our principles, and believe that in the long run, we are better served by demonstrating integrity and consistency?
ie. should we sell out? or should we keep it real?
this has always been, and will always be the decision for people to make. the specifics change over time and in different places, but it all still comes back to this question. this why it's so useless to make claims like "NEVER AGAIN!! WE'LL NEVER ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN AGAIN!!" regardless of what tragedy you're trying to avoid. in the next generation, there will be a large number of people faced with this decision for the first time. and as history has proven, a large percentage of those people (Bush Republicans) will take the "easy" way out, which is essentially a mirage.
the best lesson to learn, and one that can truly be be utilized by those interested enough to try, is simply that power is bad and should be viewed skeptically at all times, and in an intensity that is directly proportional to the power represented. when possible, we should attempt to limit the power of these entities in the first place. that principle was the single largest influence in the founding of our own government. but as we see quite clearly from the last 7 years at least, even a country founded firmly in the principle of limited government power, in freedom of the individual and personal liberty, is as susceptible to usurpation and abuse by a group of poorly motivated participants, or perhaps more importantly, misguided followers, as any other.
this will never, ever, ever change. in the grand scheme, i believe that the tradeoff in favor of liberty is the better option. a reduced government role in our lives, even in some areas where we may be inclined to welcome government influence, is an acceptable cost to guarantee that that monolithic government entity never reaches the point where "it" becomes more important than "I".
quite unfortunately, we may have already passed the point of no return for this country, and we may be heading towards a steady and long-term degradation of these principles. but as always, new challenges present new opportunities, and it will be interesting to see whether or not a new entity emerges with a reinvigorated dedication to the simple idea that the freedom of the individual is paramount, and that any government powers should be focused primarily on securing that freedom.
btw this is one of my favorite songs of all time and just might be my favorite. be sure to read the translated lyrics.
Have you ever noticed how many of these disgraced Republican assholes have "perfect hair"? I swear, the FBI needs to investigate the Congressional barbershop, because I think, sure as God made little green apples, that barbershop is building Stepford congressmen! Freshman Republicans just go in for a little trim,
and the "stylist" performs a lobotomy and takes a crap in their heads.
Think of that the next time you see a picture of Mitt Romney....eeeewwwww!
Beautiful music wasted on murderers and thieves. Thanks I enjoyed seeing them on the way out the door.
