C&L's Late Nite Music Club with The Farm

Bill Maher: "Who knew when the Republicans got in bed with the Christian Right, it would be in a stall inside of a truckstop restroom on the New Jersey Turnpike?" Still goin' on and on about poor Rev. Ted Haggard-- who has, after all, turned straight again, hasn't he?

Long ago I worked with a band from Liverpool called The Farm. "Messiah" came out on their third album, Hullabaloo in 1994. Tonight, it's dedicated to Digby.

Great tune, and to think it came out in '94, some topics are just timeless I guess!

A lot of guys in the music biz have that kind of predatory attitude towards artists and employees. I always found that morally reprehensible and utterly repulsive; and never considered doing it.

Ah The Farm. We spent the whole summer of 1992 driving around listening to Spartacus on the tape deck. Good times.

I still have Groovy Train in my ipod mix. Reminds me of the heady days circa 1990 when I first started to go to clubs on Long Island. Malibu was where it was at. Good times.

Ted Haggard has got a problem. Maybe he should try a different kind of marriage.

"still going on and on"?? Dude, you do realize that clip was from way back when Haggard got caught, don't you?
