I remember my ex Sarah everytime. She was in charge of music for our cross-country trip, and we had no radio. She thought she packed 20 CDs, but instead packed 2. Whitechocolatespacegg and a Frank Black and Catholics CD.
thanx for this... I would have never heard this....
never would have thought that I'd like this type of music ..

if any of you liked the karsh kale (the greatest indian electronic music producer, in my opinion), you should check out his song "home" (live video here and full track here, and the album "tala matrix" by tabla beat science, a supergroup featuring karsh kale, bill laswell, zakir hussain, trilok gurtu, ustad sultan khan and talvin singh (all heavyweights in the indian classical or world electronic scenes).
i post a ton of great new and old obscure but beautiful musics at my blog under the mp3 section.
Karsh Kale is just great , lots of old style analog voices - new one is Anoushka Shankar's [Ravi's Daughter] album , breathing under water and it is really nice , too!
Indian - style electronica with sitars - just lovely [not unlike Anoushka herself] !
Ooooops... Youtube says that this video is no more available :( I've watched already one with Karsh Kale, it was cool with great beat, but I want to watch also this one...

Great song (and background story too!), StirFry. I love Liz Phair.
:) Phair is great and legendary. We need more artists like her today.
