The Yanks won the division title today beating the Red Sox in Fenway 8-4. Cleveland has had an amazing year and if Boston loses tomorrow (which I doubt) there could be a Monday playoff game for the wild card. It's probably fairly common to tell your guests what questions you might be asking or the subject that will be discussed, but it wasn't out of line for Wolf to bring it up in the interview. The outrage, oh-the outrage.

John Gibson put forth the most ridiculous idea I've heard defending Bennett's recent statements about blacks and abortion. He claimed that liberals don't want blacks to protest abortion because it would lower the voting block for the democratic party. You have to see this hack to believe it. Kirsten Powers jaw almost fell off.

Gibson: I think liberals are worried that blacks are going to start worrying about abortion...liberals don't want blacks thinking about abortion because they don't want those people peeling away from the support from abortion which is a liberal, sacred cow.

Powers: Are you saying black people don't have power because of abortion?

Powers: That's not what he's saying....he's tried to back away from it and say-oh-it was taken out of context...

You remember Donald trying to explain to our soldiers why they didn't have the proper armor when questioned in early Dec.

During a hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee where he appeared with several Generals to discuss the state of Iraq and the training of their armed forces. (The Iraq forces are down to one battalion) Ted Kennedy said to Rummy:

"There are ''continuing reports that the Iraqi police and security forces we're training are substantially infiltrated by insurgents"

Here's his latest rationale about insurgents infiltrating the Iraqi forces:

''It's a problem that's faced by police forces in every major city in our country, that criminals infiltrate and sign up to join the police force."
