(The Pajamas Media formerly OSM, formerly PM-formerly the artist known as Prince, reference is obviously a joke.)

Tonight the NY Times confirmed the story that Jane broke-which C&L, and Jeralyn wrote about last night saying that a conversation between Viveca Novak, a reporter for Time magazine and Rove's lawyer:

"led Rove to change his testimony last year to the grand jury in the C.I.A. leak case, people knowledgeable about the sequence of events said Thursday....read on"

This is obviously bad news for Rove. (Is there another Fitzmas present coming?)

Tina Brown wrote a column today in defense of Bob Woodward saying preposterous things like: "I believe Woodward when he says he didn't think the leak he heard about Valerie Plame's job was important at the time."--"He hoarded the info for some larger reportorial purpose because that's what Big Beasts do- But navigating the porous demands of living as a Human Brand instead of a human being gets more complex every day."

Of course it's all the bloggers fault: "Mainstream Media are trapped in the pincer assaults of the fact-free ethical anarchy of the blogosphere...."

It would be nice if Tina Brown took her own advice and did a little fact checking on herself. It seems that we have better sources than Tina and her buddies. (*sources couldn't confirm a tie with Tina Brown and PM/OSM/PM and the artist known as Prince )

The Agonist has his say.

Armed Forces Radio

Are they supporting our troops?

War Hawk Kristol Speaks

One of the great orchestrators of our foreign policy and minion of PNAC, had this to say responding to Nancy Pelosi:

" It is possible that the situation in Iraq will worsen over the next year....But it is much more likely that the situation in Iraq will stay more or less the same, or improve."

It is possible that I will win the lottery soon too. If you listen to the reporters that are on the ground that means that the Iraqi's still will not defend their country and more of our troops will die. Certainly, anti-American sentiment will increase throughout the world which will lead to more and more suicide bombings all over the globe.

This is the issue that is keeping the GOP mired in quicksand and will certainly take them down Bill, but you know that already. The problem is that Kristol can't face the fact or admit that PNAC's plan to change the world is an utter failure and has jeopardized the lives of every American tenfold. The Rummy and Pace Show

A picture named pentagon_rumsfeld_pace_torture_051129a1.jpgThe Rummy and Pace Show

In a surprising event, General Pace actually corrected Rumsfeld publicly over policy. Let's hope his job isn't in jeopardy.

General Pace: "It is absolutely the responsibility of every U.S. service member, if they see inhumane treatment being conducted, to intervene to stop it,"

Rumsfeld: "But I don't think you mean they have an obligation to physically stop it; it's to report it."

General Pace: "If they are physically present when inhumane treatment is taking place, sir, they have an obligation to try to stop it ."

Thank you General-for demonstrating how a true military man should behave in a time of war while once again exposing Rumsfeld as the buffoon that he is.

Kevin Drum: "This is why Abu Ghraib happened: because of people like Rumsfeld, who insisted on cutting corners, using clever circumlocutions in place of plain language, and refusing to take a firm stand on doing the right thing. Pace is having none of it, and good for him."...read on"

Pulse Movie Previews

As you know I love horror movies. "Pulse," is a remake of a Japanese film starring one of my new fav's-Kristen Bell, from Veronica Mars. Here's a link to a trailer. Here's another link with a few more video clips.

Ever since "The Ring," broke through- the US is remaking some very good Asian films. Did anyone see "Dark Water," by Hideo Nakata? I never watched the American version.

Jury Duty

The president was among 600 potential jurors summoned to report to court in McLennan County, where his 1,600-acre Crawford ranch is located...read on

Scotty has some funny responses, but I can't come up with anything snarky right now.

Great wall of Hunter

I was wondering if Duncan Hunter would enlist the "xenophobic" Minutemen and the Young Republicans to help build the "Great wall of Hunter?"

FOX changes their website to Christmas ornaments

Now it's : "Put your Christmas tree in "The No Spin Zone" with this silver glass "O'Reilly Factor" ornament. Metal cap and hoop for hanging. Made in the USA."

Before it was: "Put your holiday tree in "The No Spin Zone" with this silver glass "O'Reilly Factor" ornament. Metal cap and hoop for hanging. Made in the USA."

Memo to Bill: It's kind of hard to make up a controversy when your own website ignores it too. (hat tip Josh)

John Hall from the band " Orleans" for Congress

Remember when the RNC illegally used their song "Still the One" during the campaign?

"I was watching TV, and there all of a sudden was my song, my guitar playing, my voice coming out of the speakers," said the 56-year-old Hall, still a working musician. Hall's lawyers are drafting a formal letter of complaint to the Bush campaign"

Now-John Hall is runnng for Congress...
