I downloaded the song a few years ago, but it did not come with a name of the artists. THIS is the same song (albeit the one on C&L is a live version, and the one I have is a recorded version). Why it never occured to me it was Aretha singing, I'll never know!

Aretha's rendition of the National Anthem on Inauguration Day sent chills up my spine.
Her performance in the original "Blues Brothers" is a classic.
One of my favorite versions of "America the Beautiful" is Ray Charles - such feeling and pride.
