Personal Jesus is nothing.
You should hear Cash's version of NIN's "Closer"
Since he never covered it, this mash up called "Come Closer Together" featuring NIN and the beatles will have to do.

That is awesome, curtilingus. Thanks!
You're welcome calgary Lady!
mashups are a pretty interesting new form of art. It is kind of like sampling but very different. The possibilities are endless.
When you think about it, one of the earliest mash-ups was un-intentional. Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon synched up with the Wizard of Oz in a pretty spectacular way. here is great gig in the sky to the tornado scene. Very intense considering the album and movie have nothing to do with eachother.

The people in the town where Johnny Cash was born ( Dyess, Arkansas ) are building a memorial to him. Look up the name of the town for their website, if you are interested in helping.....:)

Hey, Hey. I like this new look.
Anyway, just wanted to say... When REM did this song I just loved it. Actually I love this entire CD. Hearing Johnny Cash do this number sent shivers up my spine. I would not have heard it without you.
I appreciate this part of C&L most. I have been ....well... enriched almost every time I double click on C&L's Late Night Music Club.
Thanks, Keep Up the good work.
. . . sings Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. Never thought of this as an Easter song, but actually it's just about perfect.

I'm not a believer, but Happy Easter anyway, y'all.
Always a song that flies above any religious holiday and holds its very own place for all of us at any point in life experience. .

I have no idea where these guys come from or what they represent.
But it rocks
thanks for posting. I just love Johnny Cash. Very cool to like an artist that your parents listened to while you were growing up.
