Guidelines

• Crooks and Liars accepts GIF, JPEG, Rich Media and ads from third party services.
• Ads can be either served directly, or through Javascript invocation.
• If your ad contains any sound then it must be user initiated through a clicking action. Mouse-over and roll-over sounds are not allowed.
• All Flash ads must be able to run in Flash Player 7+ and have a frame rate not greater than 24 frames per second.
• If your ad promotes a campaign, public policy or advocacy issue then it must include a "Paid for by ____" label on the ad at all times.
• To make a Flash Ad clickable on Crooks and Liars you must include the following Actionscript code in your ad (Actionscript 2 only accepted):
  on (release, releaseOutside) {
       getURL(_root.clickTag, "_blank");
  }
• If your ad contains any animation the total time of all animations can not exceed 30 seconds.
