C&L's Late Nite Music Club With Kid Dakota

Title: Pilgrim

This 2005 video is of the two man indie band Kid Dakota. Pilgrim is from their The West Is The Future album released in 2004. While the album was recorded with a four piece band, the video features the two piece sounds of singer Darren Jackson and former drummer Christopher McGuire. The lyrics to this song are truly mind blowing.

Our sister site Newstalgia has for its weekend concert offering Streetwalkers, live from the Paris Theatre in London, 1975.

What are you listening to tonight? Music thread only but everyone is welcome to join in.

Also, there are a few 80's bands that don't get the respect they deserve. Midnight Oil (but please not the overplayed Beds are Burning). They had a ton of music and their live videos from 6th Ave in NYC in front of Exxon HQ right after the Valdez were courageous and inspiring. Golden Age from 2002 with the ringing opening is a current favorite.

And Talk Talk (It's my Life is a classic New Wave) but after that in the early 90s they went minimalist and "Life's what you make it" was also a live treasure.

Best to all and Stay Strong,
