Title: Immortality
Artist: Pearl Jam

A merger is expected between Ticketmaster and LiveNation. Commemorate it in advance with this performance of "Immortality" from first show of Pearl Jam's 1995 tour, during which the band boycotted Ticketmaster in protest of the service charges they tacked onto ticket prices.

I was just driving up the west coast today and I was thinking about these guys.
Here's something I thought of that related to that dub Scientist music thread.
Dreadlock Holiday
And here's something from the time period that this thread relates to.
Come as you Are. Nirvana.
And here's the music of tonight.
Pearl Jam, Alive

Loser.
I suggest this be played at max volume.

The OffSpring. Keep'em Separarted
ga nite folks. been a long day.

when i was at summer camp the summer after 8th grade, my band played "Come Out and Play"

Long Live Pearl Jam

I believe this was also the tour that Mr. Vedder also cried about the evil "media" to, well, the media? Don't get me wrong. Ticketmaster pretty evil, band has some good songs but personally I'm glad he's quieter, less foolish about what he says.

let's not forget that after this tour pearl jam went right back to using ticketmaster...

good job guys!

I always hate missing the LNMC, but had to catch up on my zeds last night. Thanks for giving me some great music to listen to this morning, though!

Very much appreciated.

I've always hated Pearl Jam but the Ticketmaster boycott was a good idea. Shame it didn't work.

My buddy is a DJ on THE local oldies R&R station in Seattle and always says Ticketbastard instead of Ticketmaster every time he has to mention them. And, he get's away with it.

... the worst band to emerge from the Seattle grunge explosion of the early '90s. I lived there at the time, and it was quite the musical renaissance.

Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Soundgarden ... all much better.

Pearl Jam was bombastic and boring.

I do agree about the Ticketmaster boycott.
