The Mutants were one of my favorite bands in San Francisco's vibrant punk scene in the late 70's. I wrote this article about them in 1979 (under the name Connie Chung) and my indie label, 415 Records released a 3-song 7" debut EP by the band. This track, "Twisted Thing," is from their 1982 album Fun Terminal. They still get together now and then and play, although they live in every corner of the country. The current website is pretty up-to-date.
