C&L's Late Night Music Club with Robben Ford

I was in the mood for the smoking guitar of Robben Ford. He has an incredible sound that is all his own. Nothin' but the blues tonight.

"Worried Life Blues"

Check out his site too...

C&L's Late Nite Music Club with Miriam Makeba

Title: The Click Song

The Click Song

I've always loved international music, thanks to my parents and this is one of the first artists I was introduced to as a little girl.

RIP, Mama Afrika. South Africa may not have let you return, but the angels have called you home.

C&L's Late Nite Music Club with Derek and the Dominos

Layla was the big hit off this record, but this is my favorite track.

"Have You Ever Loved a Woman."
Duane Allman was good, but Clapton smokes on this cut.

C&L's Late Nite Music Club: Mitch Mitchell RIP

I met Mitch in LA a couple of times through some music friends, but that was a long time ago. RIP.

Mitch Mitchell, drummer for the legendary Jimi Hendrix Experience of the 1960s and the group's last surviving member, was found dead in his hotel room early Wednesday. He was 61.

Late Nite Music Club with Red Hot Chili Peppers

In honor of a pretty cool Japanese flick called "Death Note." I haven't seen the anime series, but this live action version was a lot of fun. They used RHCP's "Dani California" during the closing credits.

Late Night Music Club with Chuck Berry

I just know that, 1,000 years in the future, some kid is going to be toolin' 'round Saturn, just killin' time cruisin' the rings in his gravitically powered spacecraft, and she'll dial this one up and think, "This RAWKS!"

C&L's Late Nite Music Club with Sonny Landreth

I felt like a little slide guitar work to open up the new LNMC.

C&L's Late Nite Music Club with The Flobots

Can you ride your bike with no handlebars?

Handelbars

C&L's Late Nite Music Club with Scofield Medeski Martin & Wood

I love MMW and when you add John Scofield to the mix, well---it's a funky good time. I wouldn't mind putting down a few tunes like this. It's invigorating.

This is a great record: A Go Go: "Chank"

C&L's Late Nite Music Club with Gary Moore

I heard this on the way home from seeing Ben Affleck's incredible flick called " Gone Baby Gone"

"Still Got the Blues"
