Since Donald Trump began his campaign focusing on how undocumented workers are stealing your jobs and raping your women, his hateful rhetoric has been funneling down to children. We've highlighted several incidents where high school students were using Trump's name and openly mocking minority students, using racist chants and signs.

On Morning Joe earlier today, Cokie Roberts asked Trump what he feels like when children are imitating his xenophobia in order to attack other students with. He wasn't very pleased with Roberts as you might imagine.

Cokie told Trump that "there have been incidents of children, white children, pointing to their darker-skinned classmates and saying, 'You'll be deported when Donald Trump is president.' There have been incidents of white kids at basketball games holding up signs to teams which have Hispanic kids on them, saying, 'We're going to build a wall to keep you out.'

She asked Trump if he was proud of those actions? His initial response was to call her question, "very nasty" and told her this was the first time he was hearing about it,

She followed up:

Roberts: When you talk about deporting people and you talk about building a wall and you talk about banning Muslims, doesn't that have an effect on children, doesn't that have an effect on the whole discourse?

As usual, Trump tried to filibuster a long rambling answer about building his wall and how much he loves Latinos, but never responds to her question.

As the interview was winding down, time wise, she asked, "But what about the children, Mr. Trump?" Trump, in his usual manner of not completing his thoughts said, "Well, I think people are responding very positively."

Positively to what, Donald?
