Such a pretty song. I enjoyed that :)
The best version I've ever heard was done by the Israel Philharmonic with Itzhak Perlman playing Winter. The other seasons are done by Isaac Stern, Pinchas Zukerman, and Shlomo Mintz. It is the best I have ever heard.

That is outstanding.
and such beautiful images to go with it. A lovely choice, bluegal!
...the source for the melody of "April Showers."
Listen for it at the beginning of the slow (middle) movement.
The Four Seasons is what it took to get my husband to love classical music. Thanks, Vivaldi! And thanks, C&L. I can feel my creative juices flowing.
..on a cold, cloudy day. Love Vivaldi and all 4 Seasons. That's one reaons I've remained in the suburbs of Philly for many years - we actually get four, well defined seasons. Just when I'm getting tired of the really hot, humid stuff - Autumn's cool breezes blow in;
and, just when the dreariness of Winter is making my bones ache, the
appearance of new life in Spring makse me spring up.
Thanks for the, the art was lovley, too.
but it ended on a five seven chord! I demand resolution! (The preceding is an in joke for musicians.)
I'm happy you liked it. Now I am inspired.
