A real genius. The bottle got poor Harry. It pisses me off that my kids don't even know his name. One of the greatest vocal talents ever. Still love Harry.
I never get tired of listening to Harry Nilsson. It absolutely amazes me to say this, but, for me personally, Nilsson's oeuvre has withstood the test of time better than (gasp) the Beatles. It's not so much that there's less to the Beatles than I realized, but that there's more to Harry.
The Rhythm Chiefs is a new rockabilly band here in Minneapolis. Great for swing and lindy hopping. "Dollar for Dancin'" is sweet with fun and clever lyrics.
Starship Trooper actually first appeared on Yes' third album, which was their breakthrough album. Their first album was simply called Yes, and the second was called Time and a Word. ButI agree that is still sounds good today.
I've been lusting after the new release of Red in particular. King Crimson has been thoroughly amazing in all the forms it has taken over the years, but I think that particular iteration, with John Wetton and THE GREATEST ROCK DRUMMER OF ALL TIME is probably my favorite.
She makes us laugh with her public appearances, and makes us groove with her tunes. Macy Gray looks of things if I were in the audience I would not have been thrilled, traumatised is more like it and to top things off Macy was too drunk to perform the whole show.

Just never understood the hype about Macy Gray. Very annoying to me. To each his/her own, of course.

Starship Trooper
has really stood up well over time.

I like Macy's voice. Unusual, different, but enjoyable. I would like to do a song with her.
such a cool voice.
