They actually are attacking cartoonists now. I was going to put up the video of the Hannity and Colmes segment when Comcast went down. Media Matters has information here.

Now, I'm against this pie-ing craze, but I wouldn't be surprised to see ol' Brent get a peach cobbler thrown his way one of these days.
