Fox News wants the media to blame President Obama for ISIS and, dammit, they are going to make that happen.

Some networks (maybe ones that have a smidgen of a soul left?) are failing to call out President Obama for his strategy as ISIS seizes more territory across the Middle East. We remember when, prior to the surge, when things were going badly in Iraq, it was all about the fault of the Bush Administration. Now things are going badly in Iraq and Syria and especially some of the broadcast networks aren't attributing it, in any way, to the Obama Administration. Is that fair Lynn (Sweet) and is it accurate?

Wait, what? Who made the mess that will take decades to fix? Are we all supposed to believe it's President Obama's fault that there exists a monster that is called ISIS? It was not Obama's fault because IT WAS CREATED BY GEORGE W. BUSH, FOX "NEWS!" (Deep breath)

This segment's very first proclamation proves that when this afterbirth of a 'news' outlet wants to change history, again, it will easily find 'journalists' who affirm their psychotic desire to propagate ipecac-induced vomit that doubles as program content. The both-siderist requirement was seemingly fulfilled with Lynn Sweet on the left (?) and Judith Miller on the side of Fascism.

Sun Times Washington Correspondent and war-monger, Lynn Sweet, holds up an editorial from the Washington Post by Charles Krauthammer that details his reasons for blaming Obama for ISIS. She basically agrees with Chuck and judging by the sheer length of the article, it takes 'too many words' for broadcast TV to blame our current president enough. Never fear, she's on board with the Fox anchor, Jon Scott and his chipper accomplice, noted evil Cheney-enabler, Judith Miller. So much for the both-sides, fair and balanced ruse, Fox, but nice try.

Judy is ready to show how you can blame President Obama by cheerleading the accomplishments of the Bush Administration. She praises a stable Ramadi in the Anbar Province, Iraq, when our troops pulled out in 2010. Lest she forget, that withdrawal was dictated by the Status of Forces Agreement signed by Bush in 2008, backed by a war-weary American public. She said,

"It had a murder rate lower than Chicago."

That's code for Bush succeeded in Iraq better than the black president has succeeded in a his home city (that is situated in a Republican-controlled state bordering gun-crazy Indiana, but that's not important to Judy). We were tired of fixing Iraq because W. broke the shit out of the already fragile state. We wanted out, and everybody with the sense gawd gave a frog, knew that we couldn't stay forever. Hell, all the people on Fox News were blaming President Obama for not writing a $3 trillion check to pay all Bush 43's exorbitant bills. It is a Catch 22 that is only avoidable if you're a Republican President.

The actions of our 2003 illegal invasion of a country that did nothing to cause 9/11 are seen in the blowback which created ISIS. You cannot erase the damage done by a decade of war in a few years. We are still feeling the repercussions of our actions when we deposed Mossaddegh in Iran in August, 1953.

Any student of history understands that actions have consequences and it will take scores of years to fix the mess that Miller and her phoney war have spawned. These are the last people who should speak about cleaning up a mess. These people should never be asked their opinion on anything.
