We weren't the only ones who took note of Donald Trump getting his own Fox News New Year's Eve countdown. The Daily Show did, too, and it was just about as funny as Fox's inadvertent hilarity.
As I previously wrote, Fox hosts Kimberly Guilfoyle and Eric Bolling were so busy slobbering over Donald Trump on New Year's Eve that they missed the ball dropping in Times Square. So they did their own countdown with Trump, even though the clock was past midnight and 2016 had already begun.
Noah said it made sense for Trump to get his own countdown because he is “basically the human embodiment of Times Square: They’re both old, loud, flashy and full of garbage. And New Yorkers can’t understand what everyone else sees in them. They’re a perfect match."
Noah also took note of Ted Cruz' creepy New Year's message.
