Carl Higbie, former Navy Seal and opponent of women in combat roles in the military, is an ardent Trump supporter. He sparred with Alan Colmes about Trump's recent denial of having knowledge about David Duke and white supremacists who have endorsed him.

Higbie, a typical misogynist Fox 'News' guest is, of course, a huge proponent of gun proliferation. As a guest last Fall on Thom Hartmann's radio program, he defended his adulation for the Second Amendment. Click here to listen to Hartmann destroy his fallacious and baseless arguments about maintaining our idiotically lax gun laws. His version of the Second Amendment is really the disastrous 1982 reinterpretation of the 2nd Amendment, spearheaded by Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and the NRA.

Alan reminded his guest that Trump publicly denounced KKK Grand Wizard David Duke in 2000 and wanted no part of a political party which embraced his values. Mr. Higbie excused the Tapper interview debacle because the poor guy is getting about 'two hours of sleep a night' (like most Presidential candidates) and he believes Donald's earpiece malfunction claim.

Higbie admits he's not concerned by Trump's history of pandering and flip-flopping. He's especially enamored with his ability 'to get things done.' It's perfectly fine for a business man to manipulate people to make deals and he is the type of guy we need in the White House. He believes that politicians and insiders are not as capable as his candidate.

Alan asked about Donald's four bankruptcies and the Navy Seal defended those too. He believes that focusing on his low points is akin to looking only at Babe Ruth's strikeouts and ignoring the home run record. He can do no wrong. Carl proudly posts all his media appearances on his website.

Finally, Higbie erases any doubt about how much Trump-flavored Kool Aid he has consumed and he lauds Donald Trump's many episodes of bullying people.

ALAN COLMES: Where would he have to go for you to say, 'okay, he's gone too far?'

CARL HIGBIE: ...If he came out and said some really outlandish stuff, I'm sure he'd lose some support, but the fact of the matter is, I don't think he will do that, that's why I stand behind him. (I love the poorly educated, FYI, not outlandish)

ALAN COLMES: Saying he wants to punch protesters in the face isn't outlandish enough for you?

CARL HIGBIE: I mean, to be honest, I've wanted to punch a protester in the face, but...smiles and giggles.

This Trump supporter is another one of those 'angry' Republicans who are fed up with the current political climate. He's angry about something, but he hasn't come out and said that he pretty much sides with the likes of white supremacist Trump supporters. The white supremacist movement has latched on to his campaign and Trump's supporters don't find that the least bit concerning. It certainly seems like they sort of dig it, and are not trying to hide it anymore. If Donald came out in full Klan regalia, it would only invigorate his base.
