CNN's Ashleigh Banfield, a legal expert was visibly upset by a tweet by Michael Cohen, a Trump advisor, in which he claims Hillary Clinton murdered a U.S. ambassador.

In a segment on CNN's Legal View with Ashleigh Banfield, she brought up a tweet by Trump's Special Counsel Michael Cohen, who used the release of the Benghazi Committee's report to label Hillary Clinton a murderer.

The end of the anti-Hillary tweet says that she murdered an ambassador.

After reading the tweet on-air, Ashleigh remarked, "...cause we know a thing or two about the law and Michael Cohen is a lawyer, that there is libel!"

That's the way to tell it straight, Banfield. Let's hope more of your colleagues do it as well.

Ashleigh then showed a tweet from a few years ago where Cohen is calling Hillary Clinton a "Great American."

After the guests then discussed some new polling data, Banfield wrapped up the segment by laying it all out on the line.

“Let’s be really frank here, people. Don’t call someone a murderer of an ambassador for God’s sake! It's offensive to Americans who really want the truth in what’s going on in politics.

She threw down the copy of the tweet on her desk and said, "Please, give us a break!”
