Fox News' favorite authoritarian sheriff, David Clarke, got his misogyny tossed back in his face by Fox liberal analyst Julie Roginsky, who exposed him as a sexist pig. He kept referring to Hillary Rodham Clinton as "Mrs. Bill Clinton" and refused to accept she is an accomplished women in her own right.

Roginsky said, "She's not Mrs. Bill Clinton. She happens to be Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is her own person running as an individual. She's a former Senator, she is a [former] Secretary of State. She's not "Mrs. Bill Clinton..."

it was odd to see Sheriff Clarke not in uniform, but that hat says it all.

Sheriff Clarke appears to believe that a women's place is behind her man and she should never be addressed as anything other than Mrs. so and so.

As Roginsky began to explain why he's making a sexist point for her, Sheriff Clarke doubled down on his misogyny and told Roginsky that she [Mrs. Clinton] should embrace it. Embrace what, exactly? The moniker of being a Mrs?

It was a truly bizarre moment and is a perfect example of how many Republican men feel about women.

After Megyn Kelly played a clip of Samantha Bee interviewing President Obama from the night before to set up the segment, who said if HRC is elected president she'll be subjected to sexism.

Clarke responded to Kelly's question by describing Hillary and said, "The reason why they don't like Mrs. Bill Clinton is not because she's a woman, it's because she's dishonest and because she is hiding something. She's hiding the truth. She tries to play herself off as a victim like she's Little Red Riding Hood but she's more like the Big Bad Wolf, as soon as you turn your back on her, she'll bite you."

Clarke is very precise in his description of [Mrs. Clinton] and his disrespect of her as a woman is palpable.

Julie responded, "Well, first and foremost, I think you just proved my point, Sheriff...She's not Mrs. Bill Clinton. She happens to be Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is her own person running as an individual. She's a former Senator, she is a [former] secretary of state. She's not "Mrs. Bill Clinton," and I think you encapsulated why a lot of women think --

Clarke said, "It's not my job to give you her bio."

Clarke described Hillary as a home maker and refused to give a former Senator and Secretary of State the courtesy of using her own name.

Roginsky replied, "It's not her bio, but it's also not your job to assume that she's just a little woman who is married to Mr. Bill --"

Clarke said, "She has run with that name for a long time."

Julie responded, "Well, she runs with that name because she happens to be married to the former president, but she's certainly not "Mrs. Bill Clinton."

The sheriff said,"Right. She should embrace it."

Julie, "Well, no, she shouldn't embrace it, she should embrace the fact that she's a very accomplished lawyer in her own right, a very accomplished woman in her own right. And you just proved my point."

Sheriff Clarke did prove her point perfectly.

The discussion moved to Sarah Palin and Clarke quickly vilified Democrats for not respecting her as a woman, but surprisingly he didn't call her "Mrs. Todd Palin."

I wonder why?
