The women of the View this morning took on the issue of how Donald Trump treated Mitt Romney versus how he is treating Rick Perry, Carly Fiorina, and even Kellyanne Conway.

It's not like anyone has to feel sorry for real billionaire Mitt Romney. He decided to meet with Trump and that was his mistake. He'll still get his tax cut from the Trump administration, you betcha.

But why treat Romney like crap, and welcome into the circle others, including Rick Perry, who once called Trump a "cancer on conservatism"?

Competition?

Trump doesn't think of any of the others on that list as his equal. Billionaire Mitt Romney has to be knocked down, because he is actually the one who could claim to be a better man and certainly a better businessman, than Donald himself.

And the conservative gal on the View panel, Jedediah Bila, points out, the reason Trump can get away with treating Romney like he did, is because the Republican base hates Romney for being an "establishment" guy. "There's a segment of people on the right that can't stand them. Donald Trump knows if he goes after Rick Perry that's not going to go over well. If he goes after Mitt Romney they're going to say, 'Oh, good, he was an establishment politician anyway.'

They also hate Romney for failing to beat "the Kenyan Usurper" when Fox News promised he would. How nice they gave their dear leader permission to be a bully this time.
