A man in Mississippi probably regrets wearing a truly offensive shirt to the polls on Tuesday. It featured an image of the Confederate flag with a noose on front and the words "Mississippi Justice."

The photograph was taken at a polling place in Olive Branch, Miss and was caught on camera by another voter. It was posted on twitter and went viral almost instantly.

Here was the tweet that started it all:

Twitter sleuths then started digging into Hickley's social media profile.

It didn't take long to uncover that he was apparently fired from a job as a police officer for being caught with a 17 year old and open alcohol containers:

It was discovered that Hickley worked for Regional Health One and as soon as they saw the news about their employee, he was let go. Regional Health issued the following statement on Twitter:

"Regional Health is committed to a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for its patients, guests, and employees. We are committed to upholding our mission to provide compassionate care and exceptional services to all, this includes fostering a safe and protected work and care environment for all. Behaviors contrary to these principles are unacceptable and will not be tolerated."

Although it isn't against the law to wear the shirt to a polling place, it is in poor taste and cost this man his job. Womp womp.
