California is in the midst of a historic heatwave that's shattering all records, including the amount of energy needed to sustain the Golden State.

California Governor Gavin Newsom made a pitch to Californians to raise their air conditioning is 78°.

Newsom has been tweaking Florida by running ads against the DeSantis' evangelical prison state which is infuriating Rupert Murdoch and his NY Post and Fox News.

Then again, this is the best they could come up with.

Suddenly Ted Cruz was on Fox News Wednesday, trying to bash the California governor for wearing a fleece vest.

On today's America's Newsroom, Fox News did a little dance of their 'some critics say' routine where they are the critics and did a segment bashing Newsom for wearing that fleece.

Fox News host Bill hemmer set the stage.

"Meanwhile, critics are pouncing on what California Governor Newsom, why is that now, huh?" hemmer said.

Wait for it.

"Apparently, he was wearing a fleece during events of a heat wave in his state, asking people of his state to turn off the air conditioner and more," Hemmer sighed.

Fox News played a little video of the California governor asking the state to turn up their air conditioner 78 degrees and above.

What's crazy is that in the Fox News video roll above, Governor Newsom isn't wearing a fleece.

When you hear fleece, a person might think of a long, thick, and very husky winter coat. The NY Post called it a fleece coat. Does that look like a coat to you?

By the way, notice how often Rupert Murdoch's Fox News "quotes" Rupert Murdoch's New York Post as if it's a separate news source instead of a partner in propaganda.

In Newsom's tweet, he's wearing a slim jacket.

Liars gotta lie. And a few negative tweets equals a massive outrage against Democrats.
