Senator Ted Cruz ranted like a banshee to Sean Hannity that Joe Biden and the Democratic Party did much better than predicted in the midterms... because they govern as liberals.
Cruz, however, coined it in a much more abrasive and disingenuous fashion, but his words should be used as a commercial for why governing as a liberal is exceptional.
After discussing the races still being counted, Cruz switched on to Georgia.
"The media is gonna lie and give Warnock control of that seat," he said.
That's nothing new from Republicans, even though Herschel Walker lives on friendly right-wing media.
"Here's a real lesson to take from last night," he said.
"Why did the Democrats do better than expected? Because for two years, they have governed as liberals," Cruz said. "They’ve governed as whacked-out lefty nut jobs."
"Do you know what that did? That excited their base. That excited a bunch of young voters that came out in massive numbers because when you actually stand for something, your base gets excited," Cruz surmised.
Cruz and the Republican Party are incapable of discussing policy differences in a coherent and adult manner any longer. They are forced to use juvenile rank-outs and insults as their platform.
Republicans always fall back on why they failed to govern like conservatives, when they underperform. Even when they control all branches of government and the White House.
If anything, the Republican Party exhibited their true selves during the run-up to the midterms.
Fox News certainly did.
Fearmongering is a conservative value.
Ron Johnson narrowly won reelection as the incumbent after being exposed as a Russian tool, insurrection supporter, and voter fraud enabler.
That's conservatism.
Mike Lee tried to help overthrow the government for Trump.
That's a true conservative.
Republicans have made it their mission to vilify Generation Z, the LGBTQAI+ community, demonize immigrants, promote white and Christian nationalism, and paint teachers and school board members as pedos and gender groomers.
That's a true conservative.
Ted Cruz is so clueless that he just cut a tremendous ad on Fox News about why people should vote for the Democratic party.
Honoring choice and who you love, passing student debt relief, massive infrastructure, gun control, and climate change is not whacked-out lefty nut job legislation.
And supporting those POPULAR measures has energized the youth of America.
