Donald Trump’s unhinged rant against Republican Glenn Youngkin included the allegation that his name “sounds Chinese.”

Trump is not handling the midterms well. Not because he cares about the country but because his failed endorsements make him look like a Big Loser. Again. Even Fox News is sending not-so-subtle hints they want him to go away and let Gov. Ron DeSantis take over as top Republican.

So it’s no surprise that Trump is throwing unhinged temper tantrums in the wake of the midterm results. His first was probably his late-Election Night rant against “enemy of the people” New York Times for not recognizing how many of his endorsed candidates won. But we know that’s a load of BS. He was reportedly “livid” and “screaming at everyone,” including blaming wife Melania for his own endorsement of Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Trump's own public actions show what a mess he is. He tried to one-up Gov. Ron DeSantis’ landslide re-election Thursday night, e.g. Also, “Trump took credit for DeSantis’ success after endorsing him in 2018, belittled him as ‘average’ and accused ‘Ron DeSanctimonious' of playing games by not announcing his 2024 presidential ambitions,” Politico reported.

But Trump's attack on Youngkin may be the most unhinged temper tantrum of all. He wrote on his Truth Social site, “Young Kin (now that’s an interesting take. Sounds Chinese, doesn’t it?) in Virginia couldn’t have won without me.”

Um, no, it doesn’t sound Chinese. But it does sound like Trump is feeling so desperate to smack down a potential 2024 rival that he’d sink to new depths of cray cray. Even though he also gave Youngkin something of a compliment, after taking credit for his success:

It’s not clear what provoked Trump to go after Youngkin. Politico suggests it’s remarks by Virginia’s Republican lieutenant governor, Winsome Earle-Sears, calling Trump “a liability to the mission for Republicans.” “Radio host John Fredericks, a chair of Trump’s Virginia campaigns in 2016 and 2020, suggested that Earle-Sears’s comments were made at Youngkin’s direction,” Politico reported.

Crybaby Trump is digging his own political grave with every childish outburst. But hey, I’m fine with him carrying on and tearing his party apart. I’ll be in the kitchen getting the popcorn going.
