Former President Donald Trump is not taking yesterday's Republican losses very well, even though he's trying to claim victory on his failing Truth Social platform. The biggest loser in Tuesday's midterm election was Donald J. Trump. Most of the candidates that Trump endorsed either lost or are in races too close to call. There was no red tsunami.

According to what an adviser told CNN's Jim Accosta, Trump is "livid" and "screaming at everyone" over the midterm results. Meanwhile, Trump's potential 2024 GOP rival Gov. Ron DeSantis won, and that's got to suck for the ego-driven one-term former President. The adviser blamed the candidates that Trump endorsed. "They were all bad candidates," the adviser said. "Candidates matter."

And now that Trump has teased an announcement to run in 2024, delaying that would be "too humiliating" after the red tsunami turned into a puddle.

On Truth Social, Trump wrote:

174 wins and 9 losses, A GREAT EVENING, and the Fake News Media, together with their partner in crime, the Democrats, are doing everything possible to play it down. Amazing job by some really fantastic candidates!

Yeah, that schtick is getting old. The reason the Republican candidates sucked is that they emulated Trump, and the former President is hugely unpopular. He never won the popular vote. Trump was impeached twice and ran a platform on retaliation against anyone who has hurt his feelings. Oh, and he's under investigation for espionage. Of all the people to emulate, they picked that guy.

Trump's humiliation has only just begun. Indictments should be rolling out soon. He'd better buckle up. It's going to be a bumpy ride. MAGA is dying, and Trump's influence in politics is waning.
