Florida Republican Rep Michael Waltz told FOX Business that the new Republican House Majority will not zero in on military spending cuts, but will focus entirely on all "entitlement programs," also known as the "social safety net."

Stuart Varney was rather perturbed when he asked the Congressman if it's true that military spending cuts will be put on the table by Republicans?

Waltz obfuscated and made nonsensical remarks about "woke generals" but then cut to the heart of what Republicans really want to focus their cuts on.

Waltz claimed defense spending is just nibbling around the margins.

"If we really want to talk about the debt and spending, it's the entitlement program that's 70% of our entire budget," Waltz said. "That 1.7 trillion and defense within that is only 30%."

"So, if we want to talk about big reforms I look forward to hearing that from those folks who are pushing towards a balanced budget," Waltz said.

Republicans have made their priorities crystal clear.

Americans finally got a raise in Social Security benefits this year, as a record 8.7% cost-of-living adjustment kicks in, so Republicans are looking to screw the pouch.

Republicans want to cut Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and unemployment benefits to name a few to appease the MAGA cult that has taken over their party.

And of course they only want to protect the wealthy by cutting the IRS budget so they can't audit rich people.
