Charlie Kirk has read the writing on the wall. The Republican Party is going to lose because of the abortion issue. And he's fine with claiming "Donald Trump has done enough for evangelical anti-choicers."

CHARLIE KIRK (HOST): That’s right there bigger than some sort of heated moment where DeSantis gets brought up with Kristen Welker. Forget that. That's – that's like a bar fight. This is, right there, straight communication of Imago Dei. And then he also did it. He enacted it.

Here's something that we, as pro-life activists, though, are not honest about. Well, I am, and I get criticized for this. If the 2024 election is a referendum on abortion, we will lose.

If it is just about abortion, we will lose. America is not as pro-life as I am. I know this. I know this from talking to moderate suburban Republicans. They say, Charlie, I'm with you on every issue, except the abortion issue.

Here's some data, though. When abortion has recently been on the ballot in Ohio, in Kentucky, and many other states, Kansas, the pro-abortion side wins.

And that doesn't mean it's not an important issue. For me, it's one of my top issues, and it remains that way. But excuse me when I don't get into the outrage cycle by certain commentators when a friend of mine, President Donald Trump, who did more for the unborn, is trying to strike a deal. He already proved he's been pro-life, extremely pro-life.

Charlie sounds worried. He should be. Trump is lying again. And everyone turning out to the polls to restore women's bodily autonomy knows it.

For most of the US electorate, Roe V. Wade IS the compromise. That's why it lasted fifty years, Charlie.
