So much for his statement back in July that if he loses money because of his extremist views, "So be it." We've all known Elon Musk is a ticking time bomb since he took over Twitter and unleashed all the right wing flying monkeys that were previously banned from the site, and that he hasn't been much better himself, insisting that Nazi-tatooed shooters aren't white supremacists, and attacking George Soros as some sort of Jewish supervillian on his platform.

Now he's changed his tune on the losing money statement, and wants to go after the Anti-Defamation League for his site bleeding advertisers, while insisting he's "against anti-Semitism of any kind." Yeah, sure you are pal.

Elon Musk posted that he was against antisemitism Monday and blamed the Anti-Defamation League for lost advertising revenue since his acquisition of X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The tech mogul posted his stance on free speech and antisemitism seemingly out of the blue on his verified account Monday afternoon. When asked by a user who was questioning his stance, Musk alleged that the ADL has been "trying to kill this platform by falsely accusing it & me of being anti-Semitic."

He later wrote in another post that X has "no choice but to file a defamation lawsuit" against the group to clear its name.

An email to attorneys representing Musk and X asking whether a complaint has been drafted was not immediately returned.

Musk also noted that X's advertising revenue remains down by 60% in the U.S. and alleged that advertisers have told the social media platform that pressure from the ADL is part of that decision.

The ADL hasn't commented yet, saying "as a matter of policy it does not comment on legal threats." I don't expect this will end well for Musk, but time will tell.
