You've heard of the Trump train. Well, get ready for the Fani Willis train. The grilling of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis over her relationship with former lead prosecutor Nathan Wade is over, and she's not backing down even though they tried to intimidate her for daring to be human. Willis told CNN that her office had been working on the case against former President Donald Trump and his 14 co-defendants the entire time. They did not slow her down.

"While that was going on, we were writing responsive briefs, we were still doing the case in a way that it needed to be done," Willis said. "I don't feel like we've been slowed down at all. I do think there are efforts to slow down this train, but the train is coming."

"We're not going to miss or skip a beat because of all the noise or distraction on one case," she continued. "We're going to continue to do our work."

She's not wrong about her treatment because she's a woman.

"I think that women feel like women are treated differently when they're professional, and they're proud to see someone that is strong and trying to do the right job," she said.

Willis doesn't feel that her reputation took a hit.

"I'm not embarrassed by anything I've done," she said. "I guess my greatest crime is I had a relationship with a man, but that's not something I find embarrassing in any way. And I know that I have not done anything that's illegal."

Willis said she is going forward; all eyes should be on "the charges, the facts, and the law, and leave all the drama behind."

Even a left-leaning outlet referred to Willis's relationship with Wade as an "affair." She has been targeted disrespectfully by the media because she's a strong Black woman. I have no doubt that's why she was put on the stand to answer for dating a man she worked with. The entire hearing was full of cringe. Go on, keep making her mad. She's got a train on the tracks and it's going full speed ahead toward a bloviating narcissistic rage machine, and he's about to go through some things.
