The Daily Show attempted to follow President Obama's advice and have a "frank and open discussion on race" and sadly the results showed, we've got a long way to go with healing the racial divides that exist in our country.

The Daily Show illustrates the cleft between black and white Americans on the issue of racism:

White people apparently think racism is mostly a thing of the past. The Daily Show correspondents Samantha Bee and Jessica Williams heeded President Barack Obama’s call on Tuesday night and convened a conversation on race. By interviewing one all-white and one all-black panel, they learned the problem of race in the United States was somewhere between 75 percent to negative 20 percent solved. Four of the five black panelists had been stopped under New York City’s stop-and-frisk law, while only one white panelist had also been stopped — at the airport.
