Unfortunately for us west coasters, Sonic Youth's Lee Ranaldo (in this writer's opinion their best songwriter, FYI) broke his wrist and the band will be canceling shows as a result. The canceled dates:

/25 - Pomona, CA @ Fox Theatre

9/26 - Santa Barbara, CA @ Arlington Theatre

9/28 - San Diego, CA @ House of Blues

9/29 - Los Angeles, CA @ Wiltern Theatre

10/01 - Tempe, AZ @ Marquee Theatre

10/02 - Tucson, AZ @ Rialto Theatre

10/04 - Austin, TX @ Austin City Limits

All but Austin City Limits and Santa Barbara will be rescheduled. New dates:

1/04 - Tucson, AZ @ Rialto Theatre

1/05 - Phoenix, AZ @ Marquee Theatre

1/07 - San Diego, CA @ House of Blues

1/08 - Pomona, CA @ Fox Theatre

1/09 - Los Angeles, CA @ The Wiltern
