I remembered her first as Dixie McCall on the show Emergency! We really loved that show, especially my parents, except when Gage and DeSoto did a emergency high off the ground, then my mom averted her eyes. What a gal!

Remember when she sang the jingle for a Marlboro commercial? Lyrics: "You get a lot to light with a Marlboro -- filter, flavor, pack or box."

Check 'em out.

Peggy Lee of course....but the best Black Coffee was done by Pat Suzuki.

)O(

I was looking for this song a couple of nights ago with a singer whose name I can't remember, but she looked like a beatnik with black hair, and heavy black looking glasses. Do y'all know who I'm talkin' about?

I saved it as a favorite, but probably removed it while putting in a somewhat "dirty" video.
