JImi Hendrix Experience bassist Noel Redding formed Fat Mattress in 1968, and they released 2 albums before their split in 1970. The group managed one hit in The Netherlands, but apart from that they were largely unkown across the globe. I recently stumbled upon them and like what I've heard so far.
